Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026.
WorkMint is a product of TheYouthTalks.

What WorkMint Is

WorkMint is an AI career assistant. You build a profile once (by uploading a resume or pasting text); WorkMint reads public job listings, scores each against your profile, estimates your chances of being shortlisted, and helps you prepare applications. It does not apply to jobs for you automatically. The browser extension fills forms in your own logged-in session, and you review and submit them yourself.

By creating an account or using WorkMint you agree to these Terms of Use and to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy below. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Our promises

  • Auto-Apply only runs when you switch it on.
  • We don’t sell your data.
  • Your resume isn’t used to train public AI models.
  • You always review applications before they’re submitted.

Terms of Use

These terms are a binding agreement between you and TheYouthTalks (“WorkMint,” “we,” “us”). We may update them from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date, and by continuing to use WorkMint after any update, you agree to the revised Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. WorkMint is for your own personal job search, not for reselling, scraping, or bulk automated use.

Your Account

You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Sign-in uses your email address (a one-time code, or Google), so whoever controls your inbox can control your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page; see Retention & deletion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • upload content you don’t have the right to use, or anyone’s data but your own;
  • probe, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or bypass its rate limits and security;
  • use WorkMint for spam or abusive behaviour, or to submit applications you haven’t reviewed;
  • misrepresent yourself to an employer, or use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or put other users, employers, or our providers at risk.

Applications Are Yours to Send

WorkMint never auto-submits applications from our servers. It prepares a draft and, with the browser extension, fills fields on the real job page, but you always review the application and choose whether to submit it. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to an employer.

Third-Party Links

WorkMint links you out to job posts and employer application pages on sites we don’t run. Once you leave WorkMint, that site’s own terms and privacy practices apply, not ours. We can’t vouch for their content, accuracy, or how they handle your data, so check their policies before you share anything with them.

Suspension & Termination

You can stop using WorkMint and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, abuses the service, or puts other users, employers, or our providers at risk. Usually that’s with notice, but it can be immediate where the law or a serious risk requires it. If we close your account, the parts of these Terms that should outlast it (such as the disclaimers and the limits on liability) still apply.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

WorkMint is a tool to help your search. It does not guarantee a job. Match scores and shortlisting odds are estimates to help you prioritise opportunities, not promises, and we don’t guarantee interviews, offers, or employment. Job data comes from third-party boards that we don’t control and can’t guarantee to be current or accurate. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheYouthTalks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of WorkMint. Your intellectual property in your resume and content remains yours; you grant us only the limited licence needed to operate the service for you (parse your resume, build your profile, and generate your matches and drafts).

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them, or from your use of WorkMint, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and the Privacy Policy as WorkMint evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top, and for material changes we’ll give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use WorkMint after an update means you accept the revised version; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data WorkMint collects, why, who helps us process it, and the control you have. We collect the minimum needed to run your job search, and we don’t sell your data or share it with employers.

What We Collect

  • Account data — your email address, and a Google account identifier if you sign in with Google. We do not store passwords for passwordless accounts.
  • Profile data — your resume file and the details parsed from it (skills, experience, education), plus preferences you set (locations, remote, salary floor, employers to block).
  • Activity data — your matches, application pipeline states, saved jobs, and notifications.
  • Technical data — essential session cookies to keep you signed in, and basic security logs (e.g. rate-limiting by IP).

How We Use It

We use your data solely to operate WorkMint on your behalf: to build your profile, score jobs against it, estimate your odds, prepare drafts, run your daily digest, and secure your account. We do not use your resume to train public models, and we don’t sell your data or send it to employers. Companies you block are excluded before matching and scoring and never appear in your feed (“Stealth”).

Cookies

WorkMint uses only essential cookies. The one we set is a secure, signed session cookie that keeps you logged in. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t sell what we know about you. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to run the service, the app doesn’t need a cookie-consent banner; clearing them simply signs you out.

Who Processes Your Data

A few trusted providers process data on our behalf, under their own terms, only to deliver the service:

  • OpenAI — processes your resume to generate matches and application drafts. Skills and job text are sent to score matches; via the API this is not used to train their models.
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) — delivers transactional emails (sign-in codes, verification, digests) from no-reply@theyouthtalks.in.
  • Google — if you choose Google sign-in, to authenticate you.
  • Our hosting provider — runs the infrastructure that stores and serves your data.

Job listings themselves come from public, unauthenticated job board APIs (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby). We may also disclose data if required by law.

Data Security

We take the usual precautions to protect your data: traffic runs over encrypted HTTPS, sign-in codes and API tokens are stored only as hashes (never in plain text), sessions are httpOnly and time-limited, and access to the production database is restricted. No system is ever perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute protection, but we keep what we collect to a minimum and will tell you promptly if a breach ever affects your data.

Retention & Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. That removes your profile, resume, matches, and the records tied to it. Sign-in codes and temporary session tokens expire automatically. Some minimal security logs may persist briefly, and we may retain what the law requires.

Your Rights

You can access and update your profile in the app, export or delete your resume, and delete your entire account. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights to access, correct, port, or restrict processing of your personal data. Email us and we’ll help. WorkMint isn’t directed at children under 18.
